Red Tulips Redux
To help ease the sting of the freezing temperatures and late winter snowfall, I immersed myself in a still life session with my current favourite subject. One benefit of the cold weather is that it’s extending the life of these tulips in a sheltered corner of my balcony garden.

Triumphatic and Graceful
A portrait of five Triumph tulips. I don’t know the variety as the plant tag was simply labeled “pink.” However, I do enjoy a plant identification challenge — I learn so much while searching through images and reading descriptions — so I will continue to seek the name of this beautiful tulip.
