Because I’m on vacation, I was able to walk the seawall to and from Granville Island twice on a warm, sunny day last week. The gardens lining the path have become overgrown, and they, too, show signs of stress due to heat, drought, and neglect, but this tangle of Japanese Anemones and beautiful bokeh of komorebi delighted my eyes.
